Echoes of Hope – Community Voices Network Poem

In the heart of Korogocho, where dreams take flight,
In the whispers of poverty and inadequacy, we find our light.
CVN, a beacon, in the darkest night,
With values strong, they ignite our fight.
Amongst the shadows of SGBV, unmet SRHR needs,teenage pregnancies ,there’s a burning light.

Integrity is our guide, amongst our values ,it shines so bright,
In every action, we strive for what’s right.
With strength of the young and wisdom from our own insight
We build from nothing only with hands worn and strong
For the love of change to transform our community we sing the same song

Every voice matters, Sauti Zetu we say
We accommodate and respect ,
tunawasikiliza kwa makini,
Aiming at empowering ,changing stories za umasikini
We dig into the community and help young people kutoka chini

Echoes of hope, in every laugh and tear,
A story of resilience ,CVN, carried in hearts held dear.
We are committed to service, we strive and have no fears
Though not big ,we carry hope for growth and increase our gear’s
Echoes of hope, our goals are clear,

Tunashukuru, tunasifu, tunashangilia sana,
Kwa bidii ya CVN, kwa kazi isiyokoma.
Katika safari ya jamii, tutaendelea kusimama,
Kwa matumaini mapya, kwa ndoto kuu za kesho
Here’s to the CBO, young and strong,
May its journey be joyful and long.
With unity and spirit, we celebrate,
This growing force, our shared fate.
